We are a specialist provider of third party independent inspection, testing and advisory services for lifting equipment and wire ropes. Our engineers carry out many scopes utilising Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) techniques including magnetic rope testing, magnetic particle, dye penetrant inspection, eddy current inspection, welding inspection, derrick inspection and dropped object surveys.
Rope Access
Offering impartial rope access services provided for lifting equipment throughout the oil and gas, marine, shipping, renewable and construction industries.
We utilise Rope access techniques to allow minimal disruption and are ideal for sites where access is difficult or impossible by any other means and/or where there are no in-situ cradles, scaffolding or other platforms.

Independent inspection, testing and advisory services for lifting equipment ensuring compliance with LOLER and statutory inspections.
We provide a 3rd party inspection, testing and advisory service for lifting equipment and wire ropes throughout the oil and gas, marine and shipping, renewables and construction industries. Using its certification database, Global Wire and Inspections Ltd ensures compliance with LOLER regulations and statutory inspections.
Wire Rope Maintenance
A specialist provider of wire rope maintenance services, including supply, maintain, installation and certification of wire ropes and ROV umbilical cables. Our technicians are trained in wire rope re-termination. Wire rope Inspection and wire rope maintenance techniques.
We own a fleet of LRM specialist magnetic rope testing machines and can offer a range of spooling machines operated by highly trained and experienced personnel. We also supply a range of wire rope lubricants that are designed to comply with the European eco-label or Vessel General Permit (VGP) compliant lubrication to operate in subsea environments.
Wire Rope Sling Set Manufacturer
Manufacturing wire rope sling sets in house up to 42mm in diameter utilising our 600t wire rope press. We can manufacture wire ropes with a range of fittings to suit your requirements. All wire rope sling sets are supplied with full certification. Our UK facility can produce slings which conform to BS EN 13414-1. We also have a large stock of wire rope and fittings to choose from. All wire rope slings are produced with full traceability under our DNV ISO 9001system. In-house testing also means we can proof load and destruction test slings and wire ropes.
